This week our guest Artrepreneurs are both DJs in the Washington, DC area. DJ, LTSHVSX, talks to us about all the work that happens behind the scenes, making a living producing original beats and the changes in the genre and club scene. LTSHVSX produces music for the blog,  International AWOL and is looking forward to spinning his next house party on June 12th. Contact him on Twitter to book him for club gigs, private parties and purchasing original beats.

We also talk to DJ: YESALLWMN who is new to the craft and was inspired by the May 23rd
Isla Vista Killings that prompted the #YESALLWOMEN social media campaign. DJ YESALLWMN plays dance music that is designed to empower women and make them feel safe in a club/party environment. The first thing he did was produce a track called Respect Space which refers to the 6+ inch physical distance between male and female dance partners that should always be respected. He hopes his "Music with a Message & A Beat" will help men reflect upon their attitudes toward women. Thanks DJ YESALLWMN for supporting women with your art!

Special Thanks to improviser Andy Shartzer for playing DJ YESALLWMN!  Andy is an improviser with the troupe Case of the Squeezies, The Improv Imps and performs regularly at The Comedy Spot. You can see him perform next with the Squeezies as part of the Summer Improv Medley on June 6th at 9:30pm. Buy Your Tickets Here:)
